  • Replace old air conditioners. Replacing inefficient air conditioners that are eight years or older could save you hundreds of dollars in electricity costs - plus keep you cooler during the hot Arizona summer. (Units built between 1980 and 1990 draw up to twice as much power.) We'll take a look at your current unit and let you know if we can help you save with one that's more efficient.

  • Install an instant water heater. On-demand, tankless water heaters only heat water you're using immediately. So, you're not paying to keep a 75-gallon tank of water hot all day and all night. This can add up to substantial savings. Palmer's Plumbing has these heaters available.

  • Schedule free inspections. Many of our customers have saved hundreds of dollars by avoiding costly repairs and plumbing disasters with FREE regular inspections as part of Palmer's Plumbing Club Memberships. For more information, click here.

  • Choose water-saving appliances. Cut your water bill by replacing standard showerheads and faucets with low-volume heads and install water-friendly low-flow toilets. Palmer's Plumbing offers a highly-rated low-water use toilet with a dual flush system that uses less water and minimizes blockage. Call us to arrange a demonstration of the dual flush system.

  • Did you know air conditioning eats up 60 percent of your electricity bill each year, and that your hot water heater can eat up another 30 percent? Higher efficiency units pay for themselves over time!

  • Keep your air conditioning unit free of trees and bushes.

  • Planting trees on the west side of your property and insulating your attic can help stabilize your home's inside temperature.

  • Preventive Maintenance helps save money by maintaining equipment efficiency and preventing breakdowns during extreme conditions.
