About Us

From One Plumber with a Hatchback...To a Team of Licensed Technicians
 
Palmer and Helen Freund started Palmer's Plumbing in 1974 with a few tools and a Ford Pinto hatchback. The company grew quickly and the Freund's son, Robert, now president of the company, joined them in 1975. Robert's wife, Debbie, also joined the family-owned and operated company where she worked for 18 years before leaving to spend time with their teenaged daughters.
 
Palmer brought onboard his lead technician from his first plumbing company in Fremont, Nebraska - Merle Anderson. Then, Merle's son, Roger, joined the team.
 
Palmer, Helen and Merle have since retired, but the service philosophy on which the business was founded lives on today with Roger and Robert leading the business.
 
Palmer's now employs 50 technicians and other employees and has expanded its services to include heating and air conditioning services, bathroom and kitchen remodeling, air cleaning systems and more.

Training & Certification
Our technicians complete the following training and certification programs: Master Heat Pump Technician Program -- 48 hours of in-classroom training on refrigeration, charging, electrical systems, customer service, code and safety and airflow.
